You're probably thinking,"what in the actual F#$k, Shawn, I thought you were going to teach us to SELL products!" Let me explain...
First, I create a giveaway centered around a very specific theme or problem (ie. "falling asleep," "losing weight," etc.). 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮, 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 70-80% 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚! Ask a question that lets you know whether someone is buying what you're selling, or just "here for the giveaway"
This can be done in the "giveaway welcome email," a survey, a chatbot, whatever...
Don't overthink this!
My go-to question is - "Do you currently use [INSERT TYPE OF PRODUCT HERE]?"
Just make sure the answer to that question makes it into your CRM or auto-responder!
